Welcome to AEE 297a Practical Parliamentary Procedure 2014

Hello all!

I am excited to have a great semester with your in a fun class that learns practical skills!

The purpose of this course is to familiarize participants with the basics of parliamentary procedure found in the world’s most widely used parliamentary authority, Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised. The course will emphasize the motions and procedures commonly used in business meetings of civic organizations, boards and committees, corporations, and conventions.

I teach this class because I love parliamentary procedure! I serve on the National FFA Parliamentary Procedure CDE Committee, I am a Professionally Accredited Parliamentarian, a member of the Society of Agricultural Education Parliamentarians, a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians and has successfully worked with developing parliamentary procedure teams for over 17 years.

Be sure to get your 11th edition of Robert's Rules of Order and be ready to hit the ground running!

We will have fun!
